It stores the last stop-start setting you chose, so if you turned Auto Start-Stop off on one drive, it stays off the next time you start the engine. It does not delete the feature. Turning stop-start back on is the same button press as before, and the module will remember that too. Removing it returns the vehicle to its original default.

If stop-start is not engaging
